Brethren, pat yourselves on the back for conferring twenty-one (21) Degrees, including nine (9) Master Masons, so far during 2009. Through the diligence of our excellent Secretary and with nudging from some Brothers, we have even been able to process one or two Petitions for Advancement by Brothers whose year expired.

Remember to change your clocks for the Sunday, March 8 return to D.S.T. Degrees are being conferred in rapid succession with seven (7) during January.

Many, including me, believe that Masonry is on the brink of rejuvenation. Our beloved Fraternity in Louisiana has been suffering through a reduced harvest of Masons, especially following multiple hurricanes in 2005 and 2008.
