Brethren: We had a good turn out for Past Masters Night. I did not get a good count, but I think it was 81. “The Trombones” was very entertaining. The next time I make Gumbo, if ever, I promise not to put too much salt!

Brethren, this time of year, when the temperature rises and the winds get calm, is sometimes called “The Dog Days of Summer.”

As the calendar marches on, the summer solstice marks the first day of the season of summer.

The time seems to just fly by. NOW is the time for Casual Summer Attire, EXCEPT for Degree nights.

Brethren: Receiving the Grand Master April 1, was a great honor. I want to thank you all for helping make the reception a success. Please accept my personal thanks to each of the reception team members for your participation in greeting the Grand Master and his Official Family.

First, the Lodge thanks Melissa Atkins for the delicious meal she prepared for the Open Meeting on February 19. The trumpet entertainment that was arranged by W. Bro. George Jones was wonderful. The good turnout resulted from an active Telephone Committee led by Bro. Carlisle Richard.
